Beaches Sangha Meeting

Beaches Sangha is a welcoming Secular Buddhist group, inspired by the traditional concept of ‘sangha’ as a spiritual community. We focus on practical insights from the Buddha’s teachings to help navigate life’s challenges. Our meetings explore Buddhist teachings in a modern, accessible way, led by our experienced teacher Lenorë Lambert, an Organisational Psychologist with over 20 years of practice and author of ‘The Buddha for Modern Minds’.
We continue our progress through the book Basic Teachings of the Buddha by Glenn Wallis. This week we’ll be covering SUTTA 14 “Signs of the Unfabricated”, the last in the destination series.
The Buddha Spoke as follows:
There are three signs that something is unfabricated. What are the three? No arising is evident. No vanishing is evident. And no alteration while persisting is evident. These are the three signs that something is unfabricated.
Glenn Wallis also provides a “Guide to Reading the Texts” at the back of the book, note down your thoughts and questions and bring them for discussion.
New members are always welcome, whether you’re new to meditation or Buddhist teachings — contact Brett Ullman via sa************@***il.com (0438 653 472) for more information or to discuss your first visit.
