Beaches Sangha Meeting

November 6, 2025 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Beaches Sangha is a welcoming Secular Buddhist group, inspired by the traditional concept of ‘sangha’ as a spiritual community. We focus on practical insights from the Buddha’s teachings to help navigate life’s challenges. Our meetings explore Buddhist teachings in a modern, accessible way, led by our experienced teacher Lenorë Lambert, an Organisational Psychologist with over 20 years of practice and author of ‘The Buddha for Modern Minds’.  We also have alternate sessions to add variety, such as:

🌿 Beaches Sangha – Evening with Adam Baldwin

Thursday 6 November | 7:00 – 9:30 pm
Peace Park, corner Wakehurst Parkway and Dreadnought Road, Oxford Falls

🧘‍♂️ Innocence Meditation and Walking Practice

This Thursday, our friend and meditation teacher Adam Baldwin will lead a special evening exploring what he calls “innocence meditation” — a gentle visualisation practice that acts as a palette cleanser for the mind.

We’ll begin with a quiet walk through Peace Park, opening our senses to the natural world around us. Adam will then guide us in a seated meditation designed to help us loosen our habitual identities and see life freshly — beyond the concepts and beliefs that usually shape our experience.

“We start our days filled with thoughts, worries and aspirations.
But what if our ideas about who we are veil our true nature?
What if letting go of those ideas allowed us to see life as it really is?”

Adam Baldwin

After the meditation, we’ll gather for a warm and open discussion about what we discovered through the practice.
