Dharma talk given to Beaches Sangha by Winton Higgins on 25 June 2009.
Most relevant to the first ennobling truth, that life contains suffering, Winton points out that the Buddha was not the only one going on about this. The Greek Tragedians too, acknowledged the inevitability of suffering in life. The importance of accepting this and expecting it and choosing how to respond in the face of it, are key.
